Bwa ha ha ha ha… I decided that I will begin taking over the world in 2012. It’s a slow process, but in about ten to fifteen years, I’ll be a wonderful benevolent dictator. At least in the music scene.

2011 was a wild year for me – I lived out of a suitcase, released my first album with my band rubyrough, and went all sorts exotic places for my job with the Chris Norman Band.  I was on the road for 286 days, ate about 317 lbs of dill while on tour in Russia, wrote 11 songs with Horst for rubyrough’s second album (due out in 2012), and FINALLY took up work on my solo debut album.

One of the hardest things about last year was not being able to book my own gigs or finish my own album because I was touring so much with Chris and the Band. After trying to balance three musical projects for a year, I decided that it’s time to move on and give my music space and time to grow.

So, even though it wasn’t an easy decision, I’ve said goodbye to Chris and the Band – delighted to have learned so much, honored to have performed with such talented musicians, and happy to have made such great friends.

I hope you’ll continue to follow my wild and crazy journey as a singer-songwriter!
